It has been a great summer and we have done a lot of riding. We had our 2nd annual poker run with the Lake Festival and together we made $465.00 to give to the food pantry. If it wasn*t for the rain, we could have done a lot better. We also went to Wapak and Troy fairs and helped One Eye Customs with the motorcycle races. It was a great time and we had front row seats being the flag people and helping score. Tim made a donation to us for helping him. Make sure you read all ads in the newsletter for some have discounts.

    On September 1st, they are having an motorcycle escort from Wapak to Sidney of the Traveling Vietnam Memorial Wall. All bikers are welcome to join in.

Our next poker run is September 4th. Registration begins at 11:00 a.m and be back by 5:00 p.m. and will be around an 80 mile ride. This is for kids in need and part of it will go for autistic children. We will also be doing a hog roast on that day. Dinners will be $4.00 and sandwiches are $2.00. Outside bar will be open and with a DJ. You can also go by car if you don*t have a bike so come on out and help us make this a successful day.

    On September 25th, Eagle Riders is sponsoring one of the teams for the benefit softball tournament for Nikki Germann..Also, on the 25th is the Wing fest. Eagles Aerie, Auxiliary, and Eagle Riders are working together to see how well we can cook wings. Come out and try some.

     We still have a couple months of riding to enjoy. We are planning things to do this winter. All poker runs and events are posted on the Eagle Riders bulletin board. We are on Facebook now. Go to search and put in Celina Eagle Riders. Terri is working on getting this started for us so if you have any pictures to put on there get them to us.

    Don't forget our meetings are on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month at 5:00 pm.
