It has been a great summer although the rain, heat, and the lake have put a damper on many outside activities. Our hog roast was great. A big THANKS to Kendra and Darrel Kuhn for the hog. So was our sales during the Lake Festival fireworks.I would like to thank the ladies who worked at the stands.
We are raffling off a fire pit to be drawn on September 5th. Tickets are 1 for $1.00 or 6 for $5.00. See any Auxiliary officer for tickets. We also have them at the door on Sundays..The membership drive went well. We now have 8 new sisters.
     On November 20th and December 18th, we will be having bake sales. We can use donated goods for this and if anyone would like to help out, contact Pam Ritchie or Deb Burklo. Just a couple hours is great. Proceeds from our fund raisers go for Scholarships and Charities.
     On September 25th, there will be a benefit softball tournament to help our sister, Nikki Germann. The committee is working very hard on this, so come out and enjoy a little time at the games and see if they can all still play.
     Also, on September 25th, is the Wing Fest at the fairgrounds. Eagles Aerie, Eagles Auxiliary, and Eagle Riders are working together to see how well we can cook wings. Come out and try some. On September 10th, we will be doing a wing cook off at the Eagles to pick the best wings to take to this. If you have a good recipe and want to try it, contact Rick Poppe. The wings will be provided but you need to bring your own sauce to put on them. The most votes will win. This will be from 7:00 p.m  to 9:30 pm. There will also be a band that night on the patio (weather permitting). We still could use some help at the Sunday night door. Please sign up and help your club.
